Hi,

I have this type of dimmer :http://www.niko.eu/engb/niko/product-detail/?productid=c0950fc3-87c7-46b9-9faf-e1a293e1fc9a and I would like if it will work with your dimmer module ?

Hi Eric,

What is the reason you want to use the dimmermodule on a normal dimmer?

It sounds to me as you are using two dimmers in a serie?

You better use the Fibarodimmer in combination with a mono stable switch, its much cheaper en will work better.

buy fibaro dimmer modules (you'll need them anyway) and a "cheap" monostable wall switch (doorbell type of switch).

Those wall switches are quite cheap.... maybe 10-20 Euros.

and so when I press on it will the intensity of the light change?

yes.... as long as you tap the switch.... the light will dim down..... when you release it an press it again... it will increase

...and when you enter the room , one short press will bring the lights in the last dimmed setting as remembered when you turn the lights of.

I advice you to remove the dimmers put cheap monostable switches (same brand as the rest in youre house, NIKO??) instead of them and finish with the same color knobs as the rest of the switches in youre house.

The old dimmers can you sell on ebay...
