enhancement required about delay of executing scenes

Hi,

I'm owner of a Vera2 system and the new and shining Fibaro HC2.

even if HC2 is a new product, he encloses a great potential. The graphics is amazing!

Very great step forward in home automation.

I know it's young product, but right now, the biggest problems are the response times when listening the devices change status into scenes.

let's me explain better:

assume this scene:

IF MOTION SENSOR IS BREACHED

THEN TURN ON LIGHT

the problem is when the motion sensor is reached, HC2 spend near 4/5 seconds before turn on the light.

With the same setup, vera2 make the same operation in near 1/2 second.

So I think HC2 can be tuned better to response more fastly to zwave events.

I agree! I am the owner of the same systems, and one of the main reasons I switched to HC2 was the strong hardware. I expected better response time than the vera, instead I experience it slower.

We are working on new engine of executing the scenes. For now I can't tell what's the deadline, but it will be a huge change. Scenes will work / devices will respond many times faster than they do now.
