Is possible to setup a condition for a device activacion?

Question

I wonder to set a condition to a roller shutter that is installed into a passing door.

I have its manual monostable switch to up and down the roller, but I want to introduce a condition to avoid to close that roller if that door is open (the door allready has an opening sensor).

So, if I manually try to close the roller but the door is open, I can´t close it. If the door is closed, the roller will close without problems.

It's like assign a "switch press condition".

Pressing physical down button:

IF door=open then NOTHING

ELSE close roller

Pressing physical up button:

IF door=open then NOTHING

ELSE open roller

In a similar way I'd like to introduce rules to the working condition of a bathroom light (dimmer allready installed in that bathroom).

In a manual way, I can turn on and off the light with the monostable switch... even dimmer when I want.

But I was thinking about doing something more "intelligent". When I wake up at 1am to go to the bathroom, and I try to turn on the light, I want that the light was turned on at 15% only...so my sleepy eyes will be better

But If I try to turn on that light after 7am, the light will be at 100%.

Is there any way to do this things?

Thanks a lot!

I think you can use scene to achieve this. But you must replace switches with scene trigger switches if exists!

Hi,

Like Krikroff said - you can achieve this but only by using independent virtual switches - it can be fibaro switches used only to trigger proper scenes. In words - you can achieve it by not directly on modules but by intermediary modules which will control scenes.

Sorry but I don´t understand the topology of what you are explaining...

    So, ex.

Create 1 scene Open Roller with your conditions...

Create another scene Close Roller with conditions...

Scene: if door open detector is off call fibaro roller (for example) device for close roller.

Trigger appropriate scene with virtual switch(API in virtual device, wall switch that support scene trigger, remote or other controller ).

    Sorry for my poor English.
