Fibaro Home Center 2 vs. MCV Vera

From what I understand the software on these gateways are open source and the possiblities for using other Z-wave devices other than Fibaro's own is possible on the Home Center 2. My questions are regarding the flexibility on Fibaro's Home Center.

For instance, is it possible to use IR - AV controllers with Fibaro? SQ Blaster +, Global Cache, etc. (Regardless of how bad these 3.part dev. products are, it should be compatible with a good gateway)

In Vera's Mios UI there is a lot of different app's for everything from Alarm Panels to Wake on Lan, etc. Do Fibaro's HC2 have as many apps available? For instance can you use these MVC Mios apps on both gateways? (If, not what if you change small parts on these apps?)

The reason for these questions is of course because I want to migrate from MCV Vera to Fibaro's HC2, without losing any abilities and rather gain some.

The HC2 is a completely different set of hardware and software from the Vera, so don't expect any of the MIOS apps to work. For me the choice was easy. Never really got along with the Vera. To much trouble to setup. With HC2 it's much more of point and click. But it's true, you don't have as much flexibility to change everything as you can in Vera. Kinda like comparing iPhone and Android. The iPhone just works, but with Android you can configure everything, but the flexibility comes at a price...

i also think that there is no reason to have functionality if you never us them

please post what do you need (if you know) and we cn see if HC2 does it

I'm still on the fence here. I really want to buy the Fibaro Gateway, but I have alot of issues that needs to be dealt with. I missing a list of devices that Fibaros Gateway supports. Have I missed it?

All my fibaro devices probably works perfect with the Gateway, but I might have some

special cases such as: European Doorlock (PolyLock & PolyPad), SQ Blaster +, Doorbell (TSE03) & Push Button (TAC06) , S.Cameras (D-link, Foscam), Smokedetectors, etc.

Ps. I really don't like the Global Cache look and feel..it's not P&P or intuitive enough I'm afraid. This is my biggest issue. I can't really call it smarthouse without the AV control, right?
