error #3 Help-me please....

Dear,

I'm a french user.

In first : Impossible to make a backup (backup error #3) , can not add a virtual device and more impossible to activate the advanced integration http

But I decide to use the recovery mode and error #3 appared now.

Please help Me, What can I do ?

Hi fibaro: could you explain Error #3 ?

Perhaps a defective USB key ? Have you try to copy the key on another and or re format fibaro key? Warning: after a backup of this key.

    I just plug the key on the PC and there is nothing in it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It 'an interesting problem and it would be important to understand how you can avoid ... you can make a backup of the key on another disk by connecting it to a PC (when the key is still working)?

    would be important to be able to buy a "key recovery" additional also

    I have a backup of a standard USB key which I can send you but I doubt it is that simple... There are several partitions to the drive which are formatted during the recovery mode... But it potentially contains the missing files "Error 3" is searching for and the recovery process can partition the drive beyond that

    Happy to send it to you and try to help but I would expect that there are warranty issues that you might want to check with your supplier based on the removal of the USB drive before proceeding.. If it was me I would take official direction from either your reseller or Fibaro only. I would expect your reseller to have a more direct line to someone from Fibaro who can help and he/she should be the first person to go to in any case.

    Although I'm glad they do for my own experience, I sometimes wonder how these issues get here first, without being resolved by the agency who sold you the product.

    Send me a private message with your email address and I will get the files off my office computer and send them tomorrow should you need these as a last resort

    This usb stick is not only for backup. It is also hardware key.

    It is programed during paring process on the assembly line.

    This is security function. That keps Your setting safe.

    It is prepared for comming funcionality wich will be enabled when the plugins came to live.

    If you change something on this drive in some time Your HC2 will tell You that somebody take away your settings.

    HC2 is the only gate that is prepared to that kind functionality.

    Please contact our support and provide them with Your HC2 seriall. They will prepare recovery stick image for your HC2 or will send you new recovery stick.
