Krikroff, it work but you got wrong trigger, you must check variable for example by time, look:

i check variable "stan" if ==0 or 1 in every 1min from start time and then i change status of device and change variable to new value

But I want to check the variable just once at the time of the execution of the scene, triggered manually!

In fact, if I understand correctly: calling a scene is not a trigger itself ?

The scene triggered cannot check variable value? One trigger like a timer must be used to check the variable inside a scene ?

    Thank you Socha.

In the inspection panel "Variables", my variable "Calendrier" never chenges its state, value remains the same.

    Where is the problem?

Your scene will start at 0:00 and from that time he will check every 1 minute

Yes i understand but: what can i do if want check variable value from "NOW" ? It does not make sense!

You can only set variable now (button RUN), checking must have condition like from when, how often, etc

    for example

check when device no. xx have change status, or every y time etc

The next scene turn ON both devices regardless of the value of the variable (here: ON or OFF).

I do not understand: what is the use of variables?

And: without the verification of variable value, can not have the command "Then" in Menu...

I just realized that I use predefined variables, simple variables work very well but not others. why?

Krikroff, when in trigger you got only variable it will not work. That is our protection, w/o it that scene can eat a lot CPU and memory that why You must got another condition like time/ other device etc

I understand what you say. But can you try your first example with predetermined variable? Not work for me, with simple variable it's ok.

To test I change variable value in variable panel.

Hello Socha, after testing a lot of scenes (and your example), i confirm that the predetermined values not work in any case!

Try yourself,If you create predetermined value like this:

Calendar.ON and Calendar.OFF. In scenes you can select for the variable "Calendar" the value "ON" or "OFF" but if you inspect in Variables Panel inspector you see 1 or 2 as values for Calendar variable and not "ON" or "OFF".

And if you try to use the variable "Calendar.ON" or "Calendar.OFF" in your scene, its not work, variable seems have no effect but simple variable YES!

I hope to be clear in my explanations

    Socha,

I did the same thing and it does not work! I am in version 1.042.

The state of the variable is never updated and as you can see, the value is "1" or "2" instead of "ON" or "OFF"

Where are you Socha? Can you confirm that predefined values are never updated in variables panel inspector?
