The specs of HC2 are better but is that necessary for the way Zipato works?

I just want a Home Automation system that makes my life more convienient but F only makes it more complicated.

F said (in march 2012) the android app would be ready in a few weeks, it is still not available.

J'ai une installation importante et complexe de la maison.

J'ai plus de 200 appareils de Fibaro + système d'alarme étendue.

Fibaro gère l'ensemble HC2.

Ma maison génère plus de 20 000 événements par jour.

Avec chaque mise à jour, je me demande si quelque chose n'est pas gâcher mais je comprends que la technologie de l'information et des logiciels tel qu'il est.

L'entretien est faible, mais ne peut pas être comparé à Zipato parce que cette autre échelle. Fibaro et Zipato soutient des milliers d'individus.

J'ai lu la page Zipato, il ya aussi les mêmes promesses. Au total, il ya aussi des questions sans réponse qui me surprend, car il ya très peu de questions, ils devraient donc avoir le temps de répondre.

J'essaie d'aider Fibaro HC2 était le meilleur parce que je n'aurai plus.

Vous écrivez que Zipato fonctionne. Je ne sais pas. Nulle part aucune information à ce sujet. Zipato pages sont jolies images juste et de promesses.

Je crains que Zipato pas gérer ma maison parce qu'elle est trop faible.

Please add to this device 150 devices. Build some scenes (try to use very "intuitive" web builder). And let the home live.

If you do not see any diference (comparing to HC2) you should buy this device. Becouse its dedicated to you.

Like I said I know there are satisfied users.

I am glad you are happy and satisfied with it.

I only have a few devices and getting frustrated, I added EZmotionsensor and set the motionsensivity low. I noticed I had to change that setting but HC does not save the new value so I have to exclude the device and then include it again with higher value. In my opinion this should not be the way cause that is what I mean with complicated instead of convienient.

I bought an Everspring SP814 for the 360 degree detection, looking at the forum I ain't the only one with problems with this device. F's answer: we know we are working on it.

Bought a Fibaro dimmer module, I had a scene in mind to start with 80% light, get it up to 100 % and then slowly dimming till it turns completely off. I never came to the point of creating a scene (and what problems will I run into with that?) because when I installed the dimmermodule my lamp looked like a Christmas tree (bypass also connected)(It reminded me of the X10 system I had some 25 years ago). Check the forum again and you will notice I ain't the only one with this problem.

I don't even dare to extend my home with devices scared that they won't work or can't create the proper scene.

I am not going to buy an Iphone because F doesn't have their android-app finished, is F aware there are winphones also?

I am not gonna wait untill F developped a range of devices (that will work with HC2) that satisfy my needs and maybe I'm not even waiting for version 3.

I had a gateway from Greenwave and sold it in a week, I expect the Zipato in a few days and will see. Maybe the next one is Frostdale or even the more expensive KNX.

I only mean that there are users who are losing (or already lost) their faith in F and than it seems like Zipato is the better alternative box.

And if F does not pay attention to the "complaints" they will loose customers......

It definitely will scare off new and existing customers if they don't improve rapidly!

I am shocked with this response, it is not a response from a company wishing to best satisfy its customers.

Your goal is to satisfy the customer, taking into account their comments and criticisms and not tell him to buy another product.

The hardware of this box is less powerful than fibaro hc2 but the software is really more powerful. Same OS, But different approach in software design

The zipato concept and properties for the alarm widget and brain is the most advanced I have seen in a box on the market and can really been an available alternative to create professional and stable alarm.

The zipato concept for the thermostat is most intelligent and powerful, sorry but it's true and fibaro just learn from it, the fibaro hardware can do the same so if fibaro developers can take into consideration : thank in advance

Fibaro devices are the most advanced on the market: modules with many options, good design, smaller, intelligent and innovative in many case BUT the box is not at the same level of the other products, it's a pity

I've got both boxes,

And both boxes have problems..!!

No iPad/iPhone app that REALLY works. If the Zipato has one then where can I find it because I can't

The real difference is that Zipato is Cloud Based and HC2 isn't.. What I make of that is that a login to my.zipato.com is VERY slow, if that server goes down you're not able to logon and make changes.

Webpage not working on iPad.

Zipato no IE support..!

I had problems with registering my Zipato, within one hour support contacted me..!! They used mine in a Lab and thats why I cloud not register.!

BUT after that I had a problem that I can't add z-wave devices.. I'm still waiting after 5 days for reply..!

The good thing about all this is there's another choise to make.

As stated before both boxes have problems both will get better.

Exactly what I was thinking... If You were operating on the correct frequency for my country I would even be putting an offer in for your HC2. Looking forward to the sales pitch on ebay and seeing how your opinion on this forum transfers to the listing
