As there are no Z-wave 0-10V dimmers available (not only Fibaro) is it possible to control a 0-10V led driver with the Fibaro Universal Binary Sensor?

By sending 0-10V over OUT1 or OUT2.

The Fibaro Universal Sensor is a sensor, and as such can only report its INputs. The state of the INputs are reflected on the OUTputs, but you cannot control the OUTputs independently. You would need to use one of the Fibaro relays to switch a 10V source.

    Hi Dave.Net,

Using a realy switch only switches on/off.

I need to control the full range 0-10V: 0V means 0% dimming (off), 10V means 100% dimming (full on). Everything in between is 1-1 related with voltage level.

Ah ok. I understand. So, relay no good, universal sensor no good. I guess you almost need a D/A (digital to analog) converter. I'm not sure there's any ZWave device that satisfies your requirement.

I had a similar problem. All of my dimmer switches at home are dial based and control the voltage passing through them as opposed to mono-stable switches which seem to work ok with HC2. I gave up trying to find a solution for them and in the end am now searching for new mono-stable light switches to replace all of my existing ones with.

If you find a way around it please share.
