I figured a way to fix the whole problem in a way that you only need the fibaro and and Ipod touch.

It is quite easy to write an app that reads out the xml from the HC2. (which I already did for windows Phone)

In the app you create a linked device panel per room and you add one relay as boiler relay for the whole system.

The app checks if the temperature in a room is what is should be otherwise marks that that room needs hot water.

If any room needs water the app sends a command to the HC2 to switch on the boiler relay.

In this way you cannot use the heating panel of the HC2 but need to create a new one in the app... But if Fibaro let us read out the heating panel we can...

Which is possible through this link:

(found this with the google Chrome browser and some searching in the .PHP pages.)

but for that to work you need to either be logged in on the Home Center or use the VPN connection.

But the app controls the boiler relay and checks all the temperature sensors as if it is the Danfoss link CC.

In the app you can also change the temperature per room. Which is also very simple. as you can already do this with your iphone app. it's the same functionality. which then overrides the heating panel for several hours or minutes.

You can also make away and holiday settings in the app which does this for a few days...

The only problem for me here is that I need someone to make the iPod touch / iphone app.

I could provide the code in c# to make this functionallity. (will take a few weeks)

So who want's an Ipod touch on the wall as a thermostat for the whole house that is connected to the HC2?

this is interesting. I did this on my box and was somewhat surprised to see the 'MiCasaVerde' show up in the text, as that's the company that produces the Vera home automation system.

Perhaps I have a hybrid system

haha, they probably still use that as they migrated from the micasavera to their own (the home center 2) and this is just left of that....

    But probably not much else.

But I will try to make a trial app for this. to see how good it works...

as I don't change the heating panel any way. you could also just load the information into the app when you are logged into the HC2...

It's quite possible! First home center HC1 was based on micasaverde Vera 1 box... I thought fibaro had developed its own software but I 'd notice a lot of similarities with the system micasaverde! Moreover, the integration of LUA in the next version goes in this direction.

Then fibaro team, do you practice reverse engineering? Do you really mastering the development?
