Modulating z-wave thermostat?

Master Buch

Hey guys,

I'm desperate looking for a modulating thermostat being sold in the EU that supports z-wave and of course is compatible with the HC2.

Does anyone know if this type of thermostat even exist?

  • thanks, but i have hot air heating that only use hot air to heat my home. So i have no radiators to put those things on. i'm solely dependant on my thermostat for regulering the temperature.

Hi. Not really sure what a "modulating" thermostat is, but I use a Horstmann HRT4-ZW and the accompanying Horstmann ASR-ZW relay. The Horstmann thermostat has "TPI Temperature Control Software" where TPI means Time Proportional Integral control algorithm. It has settings for Gas Boilers, Oil Boilers, and Electric Heating.
