Of course i have the manual but it says red=live and blue=gnd

    This is confusing me....

Are your sure i can hook it up the way you told me ?

Yes, I have done this several times (also connected one universal module to my car battery - to make car module).

I also add a picture of the explanaitions (link I gave you)

Ok, so i'm going to add the red wire into p and the blue wire into gnd.

    Then.......

I have a magnet contact i want to use with this sensor.

State of this contact is NC (normally closed)

When the contact changes state, so when it opens i need a z wave signal to report me that.

Do you know if this is possible ?

It should work fine if you attach this to input 1 or to input 2.

The contact has two wires, so i put them both into IN1 or IN2 ?

There is 4 contactors on universal sensor. Two of them belongs to IN1 and two are for IN2. You take your magnetic contact wires (2wires) and contact them to lets say IN1 pins one to one connector and second wire to second connector.

Sorry but i didn't do it right.

Wich two belong to in1 and wich two belong to in2 , can you give the colors ?

Please check user manual - IN1 and IN2 are not the wires. These are screwed connections on the other end of the sensor.

Correct way to install magnetic contact should be IN1 wire and GND wire - if they are connected then the status is changed.

    Hi all,

In 1 is the yellow, and In 2 is the green, so connect your sensor to the yellow and blue and that's it.

Does it possible how did you connect on your car??

I connect the red and blue on the battery, but in1 and in2 don't really understand how to connect because they appear like motion sensor in HC2.
