Night Time

Question

Posted

As Homeseer user I was missing a simple command for more control in the scenes.

When It's night time and there is movement turn on the lights.

I have created a variable called NigthTime.

NightTime will be set to 1 at sunset and 0 at sunrise

In the scene now I just need to check the value of NightTime and the status of the sensor

You can make it even easier with a predefined variable.

Then you can use values like; day, night, evening, morning....

its easier to set and you can make les mistakes. also it's easier to read in scenes.

Predefined variables don't work for me with HC2 v1.047, I also use global variables until the stable v3.

    Same problem here..

Also building one scene for time of the day is not possible.

I think the best is to switch to Lua after the upgrade
