I have often considered installing some Schuko outlets. It gets more and more tempting.

Time to dump BS1363 and join Europe.

Hi robmac, I know well UK outlets and UK wall switches, according to me are too big, is a waste of space, in the space you have 1 switch, in Italy we have 2-3 switches, and in the space of 1 outlets we have 3 outlets (Italian outlets, not schuko) and maybe 2 schuko, anyway is a standard there... I can only suggest you to use some schuko...

the funny thing is that UK wall switches can be switched with a fist, or full open hand, in Italy our switches are so small that we must use only 1 finger instead

So, I don't see a response to this. Fibaro, since you are selling the system to residents in the UK are you going to be producing a UK plug ?

Are you even considering it or am I wasting my time waiting to buy a bunch of AN158s ?

They told me that the wall plug is not available in French/Belgium socket style.

I've been reading on the internet that they are available in French/Belgium socket style.

Does anybody know ?

I asked Fibaro about it.

They confirmed that there is a French/Belgian version of the wall plug.

Thank you mr. Michal Rodziewicz for your quick answer....

I can confirm, Fibaro wall exists in french plug. I have bought two last week. (The provider expects the first delivery quickly from Fibaro). I think Fibaro wait their stable version (v 3.xx) to begin shipping...

Guys

I have been told by Fibaro support they don't think the plugs will be available until Q1/Q2 of 2015.

Can anyone recommend any decent Z-Wave plugs?

Thanks

S.

I am using the TKB Wall Plug Switch which also measure energy usage.. pretty happy with it..

I have some TKB units as well and they're working fine for me.

Me too, TZ88E works well, and is rated 2.99kW.

Existing Fibaro wall plug is only 2.5kW continuous rating.
