Energy measurement

Guest Lode

Question

Guest Lode

I have an Everspring AN-158 switch.

I connect my freezer to it and when the freezer turns on it's consuming about 160 W.

Last hour i saw a peak of 1400 W.

Ok, it's an old freezer but how reliable is energy measurement with those or other switches ?

Was this caused by the old freezer or is it possible that the measured value isn't correct ?

Tricky question
