How to manually 'wake up' door/window sensor?

Anyone any idea how I can manually wake up a door window sensor?

I just tried to reconfigure a door/window sensor from the advanced tab. The GUI tells me to wait for it to wake up, or to manually wake it up. So far so good.

I clicked the device. I opened it and clicked the internal button. I triggered the magnetic switch. I even saw a temperature changes on my HC2, so it must have been awake when transmitting that temperature data. Still, GUI shows it as "Not configured" and looks like it's still waiting for it to wake up.

It's quite annoying have to sit here waiting for something to happen, and not knowing when it will happen. Am I missing the point here?

Thanks Shad. That worked for the door-sensor, but the temperature sensor still shows as "Not configured." See attached. Any further thoughts?

No idea for that. I don't for the moment, I going to use one for swimming pool this week-end.

Thanks. I "configured to default settings" now again (seconds attempt), added the device again (without removing it!) and now indeed the door and temp sensor no longer show as "not configured".

It still puzzles me why it did not do it the first time I tried this.
