Alarm trigger on FGS221 or FGS211 switches

Question

Guest jrkalf

Hi,

The part where I set my ARM, Disarmed and the actual pushmailing of alarms to the iphone already works. But What I would like to do, to draw outside attention to the house is to also have flashing lights in the house when the house is being breached while the alarm is on.

Everybody knows that a house having lights on doesn't draw attention in residential area's. A house having flashing lights on is drawing attention and will trigger the neighbors to call the police.

I know it's possible in zwave code to send an alarm signal. I have this by having my smoke detector triggering the same lights. However I want to do it from a lua scene so that I can trigger certain lights to flash when the sensors are armed and breached.

Does anybody know the specific lua code to send this alarm trigger to the device? I know it's possible in zwave, but is it possible in lua already?

Please login or register to see this code.

turnOn is the current line just to turn on the light, but I want it to flash just like it's supposed to do in the COMMAND_CLASS_ALARM, Alarm Type 0x02, Alarm Level = 0x01. (got that from the SF812 manual from Everspring.
