Variables with icons on dashboard, iOS - suggestion

I have a suggestion to extend the functionality of Variables.

Global variables can be used to define some more or less complicated state like: part of day, open windows, nobody home etc

Some of them act as a sort of reminder or notice i.ex. when I leave home I want to make sure that all windows are closed, or to quickly check if anybody is at home if not if the alarm is ON etc Current system of notifications is not good enough for it so I have an interesting in my opinion extension to Variables definition:

1. In Variable panel add the possibility to add an Icon for each state of a Variable and check if you want to have it visible in dashboard and iOS (like scenses)

2. In Dashboard add the "Variables dashboard"

3. In iOS application add the possibility to show variables on the main screen

What do you think ? It shouldn't be that complicated to implement...
