Philips Hue support?

Question

Hi

I think it could be very nice additional feature to provide Philips HUE support (widely popular "smart LED bulbs" from Philips, a lot of sales already)

It could be managed with http requests API.

The API is officially documented, very easy to use. Quite a lot of competing products (including MicasaVerde) are already able to manage HUE (via plugins or natively)

Even new Logitech remotes are able to manage those bulbs (!)

The API is available here:

Thank you.

p.s. yes, we could create virtual http devices, but I really think that official support is important in that case.

Surely in 4 months of waiting you could have found a few minutes

Can you change the color of the lamp?

Thank you.

Hi,

Has this thread ended and what was the conclusion regarding compatibility between Fibaro and Philips Hue. I have a lot of Philips hue bulbs installed and am planning to extend my home automation with a control device. I am currently investigating the different options (fibaro, micasaverde, Indigo 6) and have almost reached a decision to buy fibaro. Having to fiddle too much around with virtual devices to get hue to work would be a deal breaker though. So any development, and if - where can I find it?
