Everspring Door Bell

ACC Chris

Question

Any one successfully got this working with HC2?

No matter how I try I cant get it to work via HC2. The Button will work the bell ok when not linked to HC2 but when I pair both items to HC2 I cant get them to operate together.

I have tried to create a scene so when button is pressed bell will ring but I cant even get that to work.

Scene attached if anyone can advise what is wrong with it.

  • Just the same with Chrome and IE9

    Is the scene created right?

Could it be the way the Button is assigned to HC2?

  • Yes, Save is pressed.

Tried associating Bell with Push Button also, Deleted, reset and re included devices still no joy.

You cannot add the devices to HC2 if they are linked to each other.

The Bell push has no options to associate or modify.

Do I need to change any parameters on Bell?

Oh and the Bell always shows a low battery in HC2, even with new batteries inserted.

Same here, can not make this door bell work with the hc2.

Seems to be unsupported by fibaro.

I can confirm that on ZipatoBox it is possible now to add and use not just

the Everspring Door Bell (TSE03) but also Push Button (TAC06).

    1. Door Bell (TSE03) and Push Button (TAC06) must be first included into controller.

    2. Now it is possible to make Manual Association between Push Button and Door Bell.

Push and hold - I,R button on "Push Button" for ca. 10sec. (LED starting blinking RED),

click again - I,R button on "Push Button" 3 times (for 1,5 sec.). LED cont. blinking RED.

    3. Now click 3 times (or more...) I,E,R button on "Door Bell".

If all OK, RED LED on the "Push Button" stop blinking.

    Done.

Like I said, this sequence for MANUAL ASSOCIATION working on ZipatoBox (and also EEDOMUS gateway). But it is not working on Fibaro HC2. Looks that the "Push Button" inclusion is OK (not any ERROR) but this (important) sequence:

    from Bugzilla!

This device can not be set to the association of HC2. You have to do this manually on the device.

Currently we refactoring Zwave. When we're done we'll add all the devices on the market.

When are you likely to add these devices?

    Same problem here.

First added door bell by pressing 3 sec then added push button by pressing 10 sec.

Push button doesnt work after adding. If i only add door bell, push button also doesnt work.

I made Door bell and push button Associations didnt work, deleted Associations didnt work...

At the top of screen you see protocol type, push button is 2, door bell is 6... Maybe its problem i dont know...

Please wrtie it if you find any solution..

  • Any found a solution for this yet?

Or a way to make the Push button even send a response to HC2

Need a totally wireless solution for door Bell and would like to use the bits I bought over 6 months ago.

In ideal world - yes. But in reality it is very difficult to manage.

From another side we can say: so long device get sertification so this device MUST work with any controller:

Support request for this doorbell has been closed in bugzilla.

Below a copy of the last post from fibaro team :

    TAC06-JOEL - Door Bell Pushbutton

    Z-Wave Supported Command Classes: COMMAND_CLASS_MANUFACTURER_SPECIFIC,

    COMMAND_CLASS_VERSION

The device can not be set association. The TAC06 device will not work with HC2

so I think this device will never be supported by HC2...
