greetings,

i have one question about how set the room temperature directly through hc2 interface.

not through the heating/ac panel.

do i need a termostat for this kind of setting?

You do not need a thermostat as you can use a thermometer and scenes.

Fibaro universal sensor supports 4 thermometers and there are other devices on the market that provide temperature. I use a couple to check my water tanks are not about to freeze.

You can then use scenes to control your heaters or aircon when the thermometer reading is above or below a target temp.

Hi,

For the temp sensors on the universal sensor, use the value property to trigger the scene like you would for any other device property.

167 is the device id for one of my temp sensors so for me.
