ANT+ protocol and hardware - something as HC2 addons?

Dynastream Innovations , developer of the ANT protocol has released the new version of its wireless protocol a few months ago. Particular it includes a stronger encryption, lower cost, faster connections (of about 60kb / s) and a low energy consumption also.

Being very young, few manufacturers have adopted this technology to date products. Nordic Semiconductor is found with his SoCnRF51422 and USB key ANTUSB-m offering a quick and easy connectivity with PC, Mac and Android.

At CES earlier this year, several manufacturers proudly displayed the logo ANT + on their stand. We must therefore expect to see this logo land on many devices in the future.
