I'm installing a new HC2 into an house, and i need to update the factory v1.038 firmware to the last one, but no updates are found!

I've configured my HC2 LAN settings with static ip, the right gateway address and DNS 8.8.8.8

Are the fibaro update servers online?

You must wait sometimes 10 min to see the update.

Also try remote access to your HC2 to be sure it is connected on internet.

Please check if your network shared ports 22 and 80http with home center 2

    Update from my situation:

I've followed the recovery mode tutorial to reset everything and now i see an update from 1 .038 to 1.040 ... I've finished and rebooted the HC2 now.

Update to 1.040 went all right!

Now i'm waiting for HC2 to notify me to update to the lastest stable... still no led blinking

on 3.x version you dot see old backups from 1.x

But all devices, settings and scenes are converted to wersion 3.x, and after that you can of course make new back-up - which would only be visible on versions 3.x

Is possible to upgrade the recovery software to start directly from 3.x and not back from 1.x?

    Hi,

I've got pretty much the same issue.

I did an upgrade from 1.0xx up to 3.548 smoothly, getting notified of the updates along the way.

I've then tried 3.552 and 3.553 beta versions, they were a nightmare (slow interface) so I decided to revert back using recovery.

I managed to get one upgrade to 1.047 and since then (two days) no "upgrade available" so I'm stuck with 1.047.

No changes in my network for the whole cycle.

I opened a case with support, but if anyone has a quick fix I'm for it !!

    Thanks

OK, got it fixed by support...

here's in my case what solved it, answer from Marcin :

"The reason your issue was restored backup with upper soft version than install spfrt version on HC2. For example if you have backup with version 1.045 this the first you have to update HC2 to 1.047 and then you can restore backup. You don't restore, when soft version HC2 is less than backup."

So don't try to restore a backup of a newer version otherwise it screws up the upgrade process. Good to know !
