LUA or Virtual Device Json post

I am trying to send a Json code to my Philips tv using the Jointspace API...

The json code I need to send is something like:

{"id":"hdmi2"}

The rest of the url has to look something like this:

IPOFTV:1925/1/sources/current (with the Json here)

Just not getting it to work.

use response, status, errorCode to know is that working or what error you get

did you get it to work? i have a philips tv and i'm trying to control it with a virtual device but i can't get it right

    Yeah it works perfectly! on holiday now but when I get back I can send you all the codes... also got the main loop to check if the TV is on! remind me after the weekend if I forget to send you

    I created a small how to for the Philips tv including the main loop to change the icon of the device and update the volume with the actual volume of the TV.

    Hope it helps you to get it working. Any tips or comments please let me know!

    Further the On Off I have realized with a Global Cache device which is in the same Virtual device as the tv is offline when it is in standby
