Vision Wireless Shock Sensor supported? (ZS5101 EU)

Hi

Just got my Vision Wireless Shock Sensor (ZS5101 EU).

I am able to add it it HC2, It detects as motion sensor.

But thats about it - no matter how hard i shake it nothing happens? ...

Anyone have a better luck?

I have 2 Vision ZS5101 EU, but no problem for me.

I think you have set the sensitivity on the sensor...

Have you tried to restore the default values?

The thing for others also to remember is that HC2 needs to finish the configuration. I had to wake it up at least 3 times during the initial configuration (when adding device window is open). You have to wait before HC2 closes the dialog - do not close it yourself!

Actually - the same goes for most of the battery operated devices ...

i know this is an old topic but i have just bought HC2 and these sensors, managed to add all 7 without too many issues but once a sensor has been triggered it doesnt seem to want to go back in 'safe' mode?

any thoughts?

this happened to 1 of the sensors so i excluded and then re-included and that worked and now its happened on a different sensor.

I have added those sensors, inclusion dialog completed successfully and appeared in my HC2 as a motion sensor, when shaking the glass, I see the LED light turns red but no action in HC2. 

 

Did you add any parameters to make this actually work?

I have 1 of those as well. It is working correcly. Even without a template. So I didn't change any of the parameters.
Can't you change the 'device kind' to window sensor? See screenshot below. Maybe that's working.

Thank you for your response, I haven't tried changing it to Window Sensor, I'll try it out. 
I see from other posts that people have added a LUA scene to trigger alarm and I am new to this, haven't written any LUA code yet. Do I need to add it in order to function? 
If yes, do I also call scenes for the sirens to go on from this LUA scene?

I have added the scene and tested it manually, it is fine. But still unable to get the sensor to trigger it when breached.

 

The sensor is always in never breached state. 

 

I tried changing it to window sensor with no success.

I am still unable to get the sensors to work, after waiting for Fibaro support for 3 weeks, they respond that these sensors are not supported.

 

I am wondering how are they working with you guys.

Sorry to hear you have problems with the sensor. As I mentioned, as well as others, the vision shock sensor might not be supported, they work anyway.
It was one of my first sensor. Totally unexperienced with HC and z-wave and I can't remember I had problems in get it working. I only needed to finetune the sensitivity.

Can you share some screenshots of the configuration of this sensor? Did you already tried to exclude and include it again?
Do have some experience with the rest API? In that case, you can get all parameters from the device (nevertheless, the screeshots are also welcome). The parameters from rest API should look like this.

Hi,

vision vibration sensor VIS_ZS5101-5 (Gen 5, z-wave plus) does not work with HCL neither HC 2. Old version of these sensor seems to be work but not Latest modell  with z-wave plus supported.

Recently I bought three of them but none of them worked. They are all just showing transfer OK but nothing can be triggered.

Then I called the company that I bought from and they also said that they tried but it did not work. So I returned them back to the seller.

Sadly, this is the same response I got from Fibaro. Always non sense and note that I have tried every thing to make these works but unfortunately with no success. I ended up setting up those sensors in Vera Plus, which worked immediately after minor configuration.

Guys, seems that with the latest firmware 4.550 the shock sensor with the LUA script doesnt work anymore.
