Universal Binary Sensor questions

Sorry if this is a dupe, but forum searching is a daunting task.

I've not been able to find this in the documentation supplied with the sensor itself.

Question 1:

Can I manually switch the OUT1 or OUT2 on the FUBS (Fibaro Universal Binary Sensor) without having to trigger IN1 or IN2? As in directly trigger them from a lua scene?

Question 2:

Can I use IN1 for receiving a signal without it triggering OUT1 or OUT2?

Reason: I'm in the process of hooking up my DOM Protector (nice C-lock encryption lock) to the Fibaro via the RF-netmanager and Optilox PowerBox, but I'm trying to stay clear of a big binary FGS211 switch and a door sensor to do a simple low voltage task.

No, you can not. On OUT is signal which you put into IN.

No, you can not. When you put signal on IN, this signal is also on OUT

    *ugh*.. oh crap.

I hope you guys seriously will improve this device. Making it able to do just that, would make it awesome. For now I'll toss it back on the desk and get me a window sensor and a full 220v binary switch just to make a small contact to open the door and register that the door has been opened.

    pricy solution.
