I am looking for a simple but nice keypad for the alarm system...

I saw this on one of fibaro's stand photos.

Does anyone know where to get it or what the name is?

What is this expender?

You have to connect it with key-pad. When You type Your code and it is correct key-pad send "info" to expander and it can open Your gates, turn on Your lights and other stuff like that. Key-pad and expander are not Z-wave devices. They work like every remote-control.But when You connect some Fibaro device with expander then it is "like Fibaro system".

For example: You type Your code on key-pad,it sends info to expander which is connected with roller shutter and open Your garage door. When You would type wrong code nothing will happen.

Can you show us some pictures ? and how big is the expender ?

Expander with 1 channel is twice as big as Fibaro Dimmer or Switch,if it goes to expander with 4 channels it is bit bigger but still small enough for home automation

yeah, not gonne work for me. I don't want the regular 433mhz orso in my system... I rather use a keypad like that and then integrate a Universal sensor in there...

That's why I was wondering how fibaro did it...

You connect expander with switch 2 x 1,5kW and you can choose in panel what item it control.

Or even easier - use UBS with expander - and configure it to turn on a scene when triggered - It's easier, because then you can use 12V DC power supply. If you used switch 2x1,5kW, you would have to use 24V DC power supply, which usually are much bigger, more expensive and less popular.
