Added to HC2 but doesnt function.

If HC2 is a ZWAVE controller why cant control other brands products? HC2 work with all fibaro devices and with a few other brand devices?

Hi,

When you say that it does not work, do you mean it cannot be ARMed/DISARMed? Or it does not detect the magnet being moved away from the sensor.

This is a battery device, so you need to ensure that HC2 has finished configuring it before it will correctly work.

So try clicking the save button in HC2 and then wake the sensor by opening its cover or pressing the tamper switch once.

Give it a few seconds and HC2 should say it s configuring the device.

Not working because screen is as you see with my first post.

Did you ever try to add this device to your hc2?

Now i tried to exclude this device and tried to delete. After 200+ seconds nothing happened and i restarted hc2.

My screen is like this;

I will check it again a few hours later!

I learned yesterday FIBARO DOESNT SUPPORT VISION SECURITY DEVICES!!!!

I would just like to confirm that this Vision Door Sensor DOES work with HC2.

To add it to HC2:

- Put HC2 in to 'Leaning Mode'

- Press the Vision door sensor's program switch for 1 second and release

- HC2 will then add the device, but it will not be configured

- In HC2 select the device and then assign a room for it

- Click SAVE in HC2 and immediately press and release the sensor's 'Program' to wake it

- HC2 will then finish configuring it.

- Put the sensor's lid on

- The devices works perfectly as a door/window sensor.

As you can see from the image, it is fully configured in HC2.
