Recording Camera to NAS

jonny

Question

Hi,

Have any of you clever chaps figured out a sensible way of recording the footage from ip cameras to a NAS, triggered from the HC2?

Ideally this wouldnt require yet another server.

Cheers

  • Tthanks Jonny. Correct me if I am wrong, but this would mean you need a Synology NAS server (which i happen to have), but also a SS licence for each camera. Which at the moment appear to be £40 a camera.

It would be great, if this was built into HC2, I mean record to SMB filesytem. or if there is a way of doing this without the need for expensive licences
