Aeotec KeyFob DSA22

candrea77

Question

Hello to all,

I've got some problem trying to use Aeotec KeyFob (DSA22).

I'm unable to correctly include this device into my HC2.

When set HC2 in learning mode and try to include this device , the procedure start .... but it doesn''t end up (the learning windows doesn't close automatically .... i need to close it)

Then my KeyFob is unsable and I'm unable to wakeup it manually (normally pressing lear button for 3 sec)

I've tried keyfob both with 3.559 and 3.560

Remove device work

There is some one that have this device and that can help me ?

Bye

  • This doesn't work for me. Anybody else?

    Hello ,

as from my previous post , with this HC2 software versione KeyFob won't work.

But i'm sure that there was a time when the KeyFob worked.

Unfortunately, seems that FIBARO team at this time don't understand our problem !!!!

    Hi All,

I stumbled across THE solution (don't hang me if it doesn't work, it worked for me anyway

    First I have v.3.575 Beta;

    1. In HC2, go to 'Configuration'->'Z-Wave network'

    2. Check Box 'Auto configuration of battery operated devices:'

    3. Save

    4. Run Add Device procedure in the 'standard' way 5. HC2 prompts that the device is configured!!

    Hope it works for you!

    Very good!!!!!!

    thanks.

    Not quite yet ...

It looks to me that it works as long as it can talk to the Fibaro HC base station, but not through the mesh when it is out of range of the base station. This means that remote is fine in Living Room setting scenes or whatever, but does not work as a remote for the gates and garage door in the car.

    Is that right?

    very good for topdob!!!!

FIBARO must fully integrate this remote for don't use a script.

I use my remote in my house. I don't know if it is necessary Fibaro HC base station.

    Hey Guys,

Only just got my HC2 setup. was playing around last night with the keyfob. I can add it to the HC2 without issues. But for the life of me I cannot get the config page up. It just spins and spins but never loads the config page.

I have tried waking the fob up.....changing modes on the fob.....still no luck.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Exclude and reinclude the keyfob?

I have tried that (a few times). I have factory reset the fob. tried it in "config" mode and "setup mode".

Adding seems to work flawlessly. (I have configure battery devices automatically selected). Just cannot get the config page to load....

Lets just say it is doing my head in!

carda, Perhaps you had to let the zwave network get settled down.

Maybe. I did add other devices in the interim. (4 in 1 Sensor). All fixed now, I am happy.....
