Hi All,

I'm looking for a good motion sensor that is compatible with the HC2. Can anybody recommend a good model to get and is it good to have one of those 3 in 1 sensor (temperature, light, motion) and how do we get all these info into the HC2. I've tried some unit from TKB but not all of them works as advertise.

Thanks for all the help.

Hi alijanah

I use the EZMOTION. This model is recognized by HC2. You have 3 in 1 sensor (temperature, light, motion). My only concern is how to use some events send by the EZmotion to use them in scene. For example, this device send a timeout event but I don't know how to use it with the HC2 (here is my post

After a lot of research and playing around with an Aeotec 4 in 1 sensor I am going to install a Satel Integra alarm system. I haven’t heard any bad feedback with the Satel, but (if you are interested) once I have it installed (probably 2 months from now) I will be able to tell you how it goes.

With the Aeotec it works about 95% of the time. Occasionally the light scene I have setup to turn a light on when I walk into a room, just doesn’t work. I’ve tried lots of paras a summary of which you can see in this topic:

But none seem to resolve the occasional failure to run the scene.

I have a Satel Integra alarm system connected to HC2. I use some of the motionsensors of the alarm to turn lights on. I also turn some lights of when the alarm is armed in combination with other parameters in the HC2.

The possibilities are endless. The only thing I miss in the integration between HC2 and Integra is the possibility to control outputs in the Integra from HC2.

What is the response time from the sensor detecting motion to the lights coming on and does it always work?

about 50-100ms:)

Less than a second from motiondetector senses motion until light is turned on.

Works very good.

It does always work, but I think the response time is somewhere 500-750ms until light goes on.

@Fidziu Do you have any comments or timeline for when controlling Integra outputs will be possible from HC2?

Bit confused now. Do the lights turn on in 1 second or 5 to 7.5 seconds?

Also, do the K-2 magnetic detectors and the VD-1 vibration detectors with magnetic contacts appear in the HC2 interface?

There is 1000ms in 1 second. In my first post I said the lamp turned on in less than a second. Later I narrowed it down to 500-750ms.

Doh!

Clearly didn't read it properly

Any idea about my other question:

"Do the K-2 magnetic detectors and the VD-1 vibration detectors with magnetic contacts appear in the HC2 interface?"

Probably.

It seems that all zones are visible in HC2, but all with the same icon regardless of definition in Integra.

Also, all outputs are visible, but with the same icon regardless of definition in Integra.

Look at the last post of

There you see some images of what it looks like.

I hade some trouble getting the integration to work and got no help from Fibaro.

It turned out to be too old firmware version of my ETHM-1. An upgrade solved that problem.
