Get value of slider in virtual device

Question

I want to use the slider value to control the colour of my Philips Hue lighting, but can't get this to work.

The below sets the colour to Hue value 60000

I have tried the following:

I've also tried using _sliderval_ to get the value.

As the slider sets the value between 0 and 100, I thought multiplying by 600 would give a reasonable range.

e.g. SliderVal = ui.Slider1.value * 600

Where am I going wrong?
