[3.560 Beta] Does command os.execute still works?

Lambik

Question

Hi,

I've got version 3.560 (beta). For some virtualdevices I found scripts which use the command os.execute.

When executing I get error messages.

Is this command still available in version 3.560?

If so, what is the right syntax?

  • Hmmm, there are several people on this forum who claimed to have root access. So, there is a way.

I hate closed source. I want to see what is happening and how they do it. Certainly when a device controls my daily routine and stores data about it, which is very sensitive privacy data.

I want to have the choice to have root access. Even if it void warranty.
