fibaro:log vs. fibaro:debug

lindehoff

Question

I've been using fibaro:debug when I write LUA, but I have seen that many of you use fibaro:log. I have tried that but I can't find any log files?

Where is fibaro:log showing?

  • I'm sorry, but where is the "status bat"?

Ok, I found it, two more questions about this.

    1. Can i control how long the messages is being showed?

    2. Can I access the figaro:log history to see previous results?

    1. sleep your code shows for longer but is not precise or use a label so you can control/ persist

    2. don't think so but Andrew might correct this.

Ok, here is another question about fibaro:log.

Can you update another devices status bat?

no you can't but as Robmac said, you can use label. You can update another devices label from your virtual device:
