Metering whole home power usage on three phase installation

Hello,

does someone has ever managed to properly add metering of three phase whole house energy usage? Aeon Labs Energy meter is not accurate (by A LOT in certain conditions because of how energy is metered -> clamps). I own also Plugwise products (

) and in their FAQ I've found question and answer:

Can I measure three-phase power?

We are currently working on developing a module suitable for measuring three-phase power consumers.

A Stealth module can be installed for each phase wire; your electrician would have to install 3 Stealths to measure the phases independently of each other.

In this way you can gain insight into the power usage of your three-phase power consumers

Stealth module is nothing more or less than something similar like wallplug but with this difference that it is being build inside wall or some power box (stealth).

Price for Stealth module is about 43eur so it is a little cheaper than a Fibaro Wall plug which I'm not sure if it would work in similar scenario. Any ideas or suggestions?

For reading Plugwise products I'm using perl script:

and generating charts using:

Of course it would be nice to have possibility to create power usage charts for for example virtual devices inside HC2 but for now mentioned chart script is doing just great.

I don't need per device power usage but having power usage for whole house would be nice since I'm using energy for heating floor and water (air-water heat pump).

the best way is to use the main counter from to power supplier....

You can read their pulse with devices like eco-devices

I think fibaro is soon to support pulse counter who are also common for gas and water meters

I have main meter placed outside my house so I would have to add additional my own home energy meter with pulse counter which in some cases (as always there are cheaper and more expensive products - I don't know how accurate cheaper ones are) is equal to buying three Plugwie Stealth modules.

You will never have a correct measure.

One main problem is that it's very difficult to take into account the cos(Phi) with a cheap electronic counters....

la mejor manera es usar el contador principal desde el proveedor de energía ...

Puedes leer su pulso con dispositivos como eco-dispositivos.

Creo que fibaro pronto admitirá los contadores de pulsos que también son comunes para los medidores de gas y agua.
