RGBW Controller failure - start to flash

Hi Forum,

has anyone else the problem, that the RGBW Controller starts to blink/flash after a few minutes?

I´ve tried already an other RGBW Controller, but problem is the same. I can´t believe, that both controllers are faulty. The RGB-Stripe works fine with his own controller.

Any ideas on that?

Thank you

BR

I guess not enough power for Led stripe...

    Hi Wasil,

the power supply is the original one that comes with the stripes. And the fibaro RGBW Controller only needs 0,3 Watt for itself.

Calculated power needed for the stripe is 2,5Ampere - the power supply has 3 Amps.

But Ok, I will order a new, bigger supply - maybe this one is "nearly" broken.

I'll post an update after that.

You can make one more thing to check if it is power supply. Turn on just only one color for example red and leave it for a while. If it will work good after 30 minutes then make white color and check the same. For white color every led stripe needs more power so You can check the problem like that.
