Vision wireless siren not showing battery level

marcand

Question

Hi

I'm using some LUA to keep track on and warn if the battery level is low on any of my devices. When I recently added the Vision Wireless Siren to my setup, I found that the battery level is always reported as 0 and isBatteryOperated is set to 2. Comparing with the fibaro door sensors, they report the correct battery level and also isBatteryOperated as 1.

Please login or register to see this link.

show that the device has the battery level command - why isn't it being reported?

What is the difference between 1 and 2 for the isBatteryOperated attribute?

Anyone here that has a vision that report correct battery level? Maybe my unit is broken.

Does the attribute type matter? I mean, do I need to set it to something specific to get the battery reporting to work?

Hope somebody has a working version of this product...
