LUA setTargetLevel and Secure SRT321 ?

kiwi

Question

Hi there,

I have under experimentation an Secure SRT321 (ex HRT4) thermostat.

I got it correctly on the HC2, but I still don't understand how fibaro:call(146, "setTargetLevel" ,21) works ?

I have called it by a small scene and with LUA scheduler, but this things set the temperature to 16°C instead of... 21°C...

Is there something I didn't yet understood with LUA and thermostats ?

Regards

  • I have several heating pannels. Do you think that Fibaro HC2 take the values from here ?

Well I will give a try, thanks for the hint

heating panels set the target value using a cron job every minute so these will override manual or other code set values

  • Ok I confirm this behavior and understand better the countdown time on the Thermostat.

I have made a test with a dummy room and dummy heating pannel. I confirm the temperature set to thermostat is getting from the heating pannel.

Sadly I didn't saw that on the documentation or the HC2 site...

Okay now this make me the system more easy for me make this work.

Thanks for the very important information you gave me

I do not think it is useful behavior so do not use heating panel any more.

I don't understand why you would want to set the value every 1 minute as it stops any override other than through HC2 heating panel.
