Hey.

I just added Fibaro RGBW Controller to my small system to control some LED strips. Everything seems to be working great. Except that my HC2 controller does not seem to categorize it as a "light" but as "other".

Is this a known issue or maybe some sort of configuration issue?

In any event it is rather annoying as it then don't shut off when shutting off all lights in the solution.

As far as I know it's not a configuration issue; with my RGBW-module it's the same thing. Only thing you could do for now is create scene that checks if all lights are off, and if so, that it switches off the RGBW also.

Almost the same result.

I'm happy it is not just me being stupid. But it is a pretty bad solution as it won't fix the iPad app. That has buttons for shutting everything off on the main screen.

Assuming it was you who made the mistake, is your first mistake.

But you could make a scene that checks wether or not you have switched all lights off (for instance using the "all lights off-button" in the iPad app. If so, it switches the RGBW module off too. So even though it's not directly attached to the button, it does almost the same.

You may set some conditions too, for instance "if it's after 22h, then switch off RGBW". So that it only switches of the RGBW if you go to bed, but that it allows you to leave the led burning if you go out during the day.
