Problems with Minimote?

Hi,

I'm getting this issue when trying to include a Minimote to my HC2 3.70.

[10] Home Center in learning mode

[10] Device added

[10] ID 71: Controller added

[10] Routing table update

[10] Learning mode error. Try again.

Has anyone seen or fixed this prob before?

I would suggest resetting the Minimote before you include it and see if that helps.

Thanks Vesternet. I had a look through that guide already. However, I'd missed a trick.

The key step was "Press & Hold Associate + Learn until the LEDs stop flashing". That's the magic.

I'm trying to follow that guide (as well as other), but I cant get the next section to work ..... starting a scene from the remote event. I've made the simplest possible scene to test it :-

when I run this scene via the UI, it turns on lamp (id 62), but it wont trigger from the remote. Anyone got any ideas?

Ok, I've fixed my issue!

For other peoples benefit, I added the device again. Reconfigure succeed, but still didn't lead to sceneActivation working.

I simply added the device again - without removing, but this time the debug console at the top of HC2 mentioned parameter 250 being set to 1, and hey presto all worked!

Just to confirm for other users re-adding the device WITHOUT removing it solves the issue you correctly get a debug 250=1 in the parameters. This didn't seem to be a problem pre 3.570.

With 3.571 the minimote can no longer be added tot the HC2. Support confirmed we have to wait for the new z-wave engine.

I have a BIG problem with my minimote.

Why ?

The remote control is added, but the inclusion does not.

I have a message that says a problem occurred during the entry into learning mode. Refresh the page and try again.

It's just terrifying!

I have every reason to believe that the first edition of this remote control is not supported. I am in firmware version 1.18 europe.

The model of this remote control is DSA03202W-ZWEU

I would greatly that it works for my wife it is very simple for her to use an application to open or close the gate.

Is anybody successful in configuring Aeon labs minimote with HC2 3.581?

Minimote adds successfully but, remains 'waitng for wake up' even after waking up(pressing learn button 3 times).
