Waiting for Wakeup

georgholzer

Question

Hello!

Got my long awaited HC2 today. During setup I encountered the problem that all battery powered Z-Wave devices (namely Danfoss living connects or an Everspring multisensor as well as the Everspring smoke detector) cannot be reached.

As you see on the screenshot, they all show "Waiting for Wakeup". Can I manually trigger the wakeup?

The field "Wake up interval (s):" in the advanced settings for the item remains empty regardless what value I enter.

BTW: I already tried to exclude and re-include the devices. Did not work either. Pressing the button "reconfiguring device" did not solve it either.

Thanks a lot for your advice.

I don't know about the other devices but i can tell you for sure the everspring smoke detector never wakes up.

By including the battery level shows up and that's it.

The detector works fine but it has that shortage.

I wait for the Fibaro smoke detectors........

If you reconfigure battery operated device, then it is best to wake it up manually by pressing a button on danfoss etc..

That's what i said....

It wakes up by reconfiguring or including but you will notice that the sensor won't pass its batterylevel again.
