Everspring AD142-2 - cannot include in HC2

Question

Posted

Hello,

I started my Z-wave installation using a Raspberry pi with a Razberry module. I included the Everspring AD142-2 in that controller (Which is not used anymore). Now I want to include the AD-142 dimmer in my HC2 but it does'nt find it. I use HC2 ver 3.570.

Do I need to reset the Everspring Dimmer? How do I do that. Cannot find anything on that in the manual.

Do I need to exclude it from the old controller. I would prefer not to have to do that as I am not sure it boots anymore.

Any other suggestions on how to include the dimmer in HC2?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards

Håkan

You need to reset the AD142 first.

Go to HC2's 'Devices' panel, go to the Add/Delete section and then in click the Delete button.

Then click the Include/Exclude button on the AD142.

By deleting it in HC2 you are resetting the AD142.

Now you can add it as normal and you should have no more problems.
