Virtual Device Rows Clone

robmac

Question

If you have a few rows of elements in a virtual device that you want to copy many time in repeating pattern this may help. I used it to clone my Alarm Clock controls so I can have 8 alarms with my copy of scheduler.

Did not replace all the strings but you could replace strings in msg element

put this in a button on a virtual device.

  • It just gets tedious copying code. If only there were global functions

    Thanks for the icon Jonny.

  • Yes using virtual device based on Marco's (Ucciogenerale) virtual device code and the lua scheduler.

I have just made some small tweaks to the code and Jonnny(Jompa68) has tested.

Will post but it at some point but it involves a bit more setup than the normal scheduler as there are some ids to change and global variables to create.
