DSA22 Aeon Labs KeyFob connection issue

Good moorning,

i'm not ablke to insert in my z wave network the keyfob properly :

the keyfob is inserted in the network and the node assigned but no parameter are shown in the configuration page , so i'm not able to send the parameter 250 to put the device in scene mode , even if i add the parameter to the configuration page . the hc2 is waiting all the time for the wake up that never come and the new parameter is anyway not shown in the configuration page of the device .

I follow all the instruction found on the forum but the learn button procedure to wake up the device is not working for me.

I'm the only one with this issue?

Any idea ?

Hi, I have one working, i've configured it a long time ago, but here are some things i remember:

The remote has to be in a mode where it is not the main standalone controller (i thing this is ok)

you have to create parameter 250 in HC2 and set to 1

I believe they give a piece of metal that has 2 parts so you can push on both back buttons simultaneously, and i'm not sure, but I think this is..to wake it up...

can you pleas check that ?

Anyway I have an unused one I need to add and configure for my wife, so I'll do this soon

The problem is that HC2 does not hear DSA when it wake up ..... either if HC2 ZWAVE led blink on every wake-up !!!!!

Same problem here. Here is de fibaro reaction I have received:

When you add the DSA22 to HC2 then you have to turn on learn mode this remote. In DSA22 manual instruction is information how add this device.

I also have the same problem...

I read that changing the parameter 250 to 1 is required, how actually do you do that? 1 never gets written despite waking up the key fob.

It would be good to get full support of this device.

3. Save

4. Run Add Device procedure in the 'standard' way

5. HC2 prompts that the device is configured!!

As I remember, when I've opened the ticket to fibaro support (v 3.558) they have tell me to try system with checkbox "AutoConfigure" enabled .... but with no results.

Now, I'm in v 3.575 and , with checkbox enabled the keyfob work without any issue !!!

I'm stuck at this point. I dont understand how to use the 4 buttons.

I saw only one group in the "associations" ...

Could you post some screen pix ? Or give me examples of what you have done ?

On every "TASTO NUMERO X PREMUTO" in english "KEY NUMBER X PRESSED" you can write your own code

Also remeber to put the scene in state "Active Scene"

When you are in device setup, try add parameter 250 as in my screen-shot , then click save.

After that wake up the DSA22 as usual.

Then you have parameter 250 saved

before you save the parameter, wake up keyfob by pressing learn 3sec.

I have a problem with this remote in that it will not 'roam' - it works fine as long as it is within reach of the base station, but take it away, even if it is right next to a range extender and it does not work.

Makes the remote less than useful! I recently upgraded to 3.59 and same issue.

Any ideas?
