    can you tell me how?

the shop owner (that sells the remote) told me that starting a scene is not possible without lua code?

corrrect. The Lua code is quite easy. Only need some standard code and then per button you can just start other scenes (these can be graphic ones). that's what I do often. Keeps your LUA scripts small. Les mistakes.

    Hi,

Take a look at our guide on how to use the Minimote in HC2. This should tell you all you need to know about using it with scenes.

Please login or register to see this link.

It is relatively straightforward to use.

I use the Z-wave.me Key Fob remote on my HC2 (3.571) and since this morning I'm starting scenes using the 4 buttons once the remote. Also see my post from this morning if you are interested.

    Hi

the only problem I have with this remote is that the remote needs to be directly in range of HC2 to operate and being close to a powered Z-wave device (FGS-221, Double Relay Switch, which is in range of HC2) doesn't work.

So, it's good to deactivate the alarm before entering the house if the HC2 is close to the entrance but it's not good to open a gate from your car...

Any ideas on how to solve the problem? maybe with a ZWave Range Extender?

    Thanks

    Riccardo
