Motion sensor ok ! But which one ?

Hi all,

I just want to know which motion sensor (for indoor) do you used in your HC2 system ?

Because I have seen Everspring HSP02 but seems to be not properly working with HC2 (trouble to set parameters ?)

After that there is also EZMotion but not fully supported also... (only PIR working ?)

So which motion sensor can I buy with my HC2 ? And if possible could you give me details regarding life battery ?

I have chosen to test the AEON LABS DSB05.

Anybody used this device currently in its configuration ?

Someone can give me the life battery with its configuration ?

I use three "DSB05xxx-ZWUS Z-Wave Multi Sensor" a.k.a. "4 in 1" with HC2 3.571. They work well. Can't say anything about battery performance. From research it should be 3 - 6 months in real life, depending of course on how often the device needs to transmit. The device does not have a template (yet), so you see raw values and not all of them. But I didn't need them. I find all battery devices a pain to include on this version of HC2. My first multi sensor worked OK in 3.56-something. My second did not show battery level and my third did not show temp/moist/light after first attempt. The trick is: do "reconfigure" (button in advanced settings) and wake up device (click or triple click or hold black button, wave, try anything, I don't think it works as stated in the manual...) until it's ok. If that doesn't work after a few attempts: try to add the device again (without removing it). If that doesn't work either: remove it and add again and reconfigure again. A was able to make my z-wave unresponsive after the last attempt, no more response from android app. So... If everything fails: reboot the HC2. Try everything again. Eventually, it will work. Then test the device 24h before you use it in scenes (if it doesn't work and you have to delete it, it will get a new ID!). And check event panel for updates of temp/moist/light! Good luck!

I had some problems with DSB05 (Aeon) multisensor. It works almost fine most of the time (~95%). But sometimes, normally after a long time off, it takes up to 10-20 seconds to trigger the action after a motion. So the reliability is not the best unfortunately.

Also the Aeon distance is very short. Can only be connected by direct connection to HC2. I cannot get through via other nodes in the network.
