fibaro rgbw module and keep original controller operational

Hi,

Would you know the cabling in order to plug a RGB LED ribbon with both way to control it:

- Fibaro rgbw micro module

- and keep original control (usually remote control) sothat we can still activate it without the need to use Fibaro interface, since my little children may need to light on the garden lights but they don't own smarthone...yet

basically something like that:

It looks like (not obvious to be sure regarding the video) the guy simply plugged original controller lines into controler lines of Fibaro module, but I 'm afraid it could hurt the LED in case both controllers send activation commands at the same time (both would send voltage, right ? worst Fibaro module could not like at all to get voltage from the other controller).

What do you think ? any clue ?

Thanks for support !

Looks like Fibaro RGBW module has open collector (or open drain) output. I hope Fibaro engineering can confirm that. In this case you can connect this output to similar type of output without any hurt.
