GPS on Android Phone with beta 1.2

Hi all

Does the GPS is suppose working on Android phone (Galaxy S3) with beta 1.2 ?

If yes, how can I test it ?

I have created a scene triggerring by the GPS for admin but nothing happen (I should receive a email when I arrive at home).

To test it, I run the GPS on my phone then I run the app on my phone, but I don't receive anything

Is there something wrong in what I did ?

^^^^^^^^ the longitude and latitude from the docs linked above are the same longitude and latitude my 'admin' account gps locates to PERMANENTLY i just wish someone from Fibaro would listen to me for once!

IT IS NOT MY BLOODY PHONE AT FAULT!

I am annoyed because i keep telling them IT WORKED then it stopped just after one of them logged into my box!

But they blame my phone even though it works under normal usernames just NOT admin!

Please guys listen to me! Do you want to fix the bug?

deleted all previous backups as box went crazy i lost all devices etc... fresh setup

i just use user account now not admin!... they can decide if they want to fix it now... i am just not going to send anymore pointless emails or respond to silly messages anymore...

deanrparry, I'm not ignoring You, i was told about you with support, and they gonna help you. For me is hard to say why you got in family panel our company or why gps is not working. Support will check you hc2 settings, will do tests and with this data will be able to help you

My settings are 100% perfect it works for normal user accounts just not admin! It shows YOUR address when I debug location in virtual device every 60 seconds and never moves!

deanrparry, and that is a reason why support must check your setting. For distance we can't know the reason why is not working w/o checking

I finally confirm that the GPS location service is completely unstable since 3.572 and that the issue is not linked to the 1.2 app ...

Here is my HC2 position log (lua script) while riding on my bike going back home :

I am using Android Tasker to also log the position directly on the smartphone (S4 @ Android 4.3 up to date), to compare with HC2 data, and Tasker data is correct i.e : no loss of GPS position.

As you can see on the log, at some point, the position is updated 5 times at the same minute with the last one being the position 5 minutes before ...

V1.099 beta or V1.2 beta gives the same results.

I will also try to use Android Tasker app to send GPS position captured by Tasker as a global variable of the HC2 thru the HTTP API.
