Hello,
This is my original issue:
I change the battery of some of the door sensor and the battery level displayed is still 0%
If I open one window, it works fine, it is written as OPEN.
Also some of the sensor has no battery level on the GUI.
After some testing this is what I know:
I connected Fibaro FGK with stable power supply on which I can change voltage level. I set Fibaro wake up interval to be very short so I could receive an update more often.
1. When I dropped voltage to the 2.2 V i received battery report from FGK ( battery FF report on device wake up ) which means battery status is critical.
2. When I raised up battery level to the 3.6 which is max value of a full battery I never received battery report, and I waited long enough. ( open/close works normally as device is fully powered )
This was checked over Zniffer module which can see Z-Wave communication.
So reason why I don't see this indication is because my device never sent new battery level report. I tested the same with Wintop door/window sensor and I got normal update regarding battery level, and this was displayed on Dashboard ( also could be seen over Zniffer module ).
Battery level report and it's interval can't be changed by me, as this is set up by the device manufacturer (fibaro).
Can you give me more explanation please? May be about the timer? Do you have an update?
Regards,
Fred
