Still dead nodes in this version?

marcel

Question

I still have dead nodes. a few beta versions ago it was solved, but they are all over the place again... Problem for the scenes as they do not complete and especially a problem for the more special tasks like floor heating control.... Anyone a suggestion?

For very important devices I suggest you to use "do not mark as dead" option. This way HC2 always tries to connect this relay/device.

Have you increased polling time under configuration panel?

Since yesterday dead nodes randomly.....

+1

but they are not proper dead and it is random.

They get marked as dead when system slows or pauses but are 100% good when tested after leaving for a few minutes.

I've used this script, I don't know where I found it on this forum. But in my experience it works very nicely.

Please login or register to see this code.

As I mentioned already (not once), there are some deep issues in the z-wave stack on HC2.

In case "dead node" detection is not switched off, more than half of my devices are marked as dead only in one day.
