I have a Fibaro dimmer with 8x GU10 Halogen replaced by 8x 4W GU10 Philips LED light. This is close to the minimum load of 35 Watt in case of requiring a Fibaro by-pass.

My dimmer is behaving like a dead node. When replacing back the Halogen spots everything is fine again.

What is your advice, what am I doing wrong? Why is the dimmer behaving like a dead node?

I have put the impulse duration to 136

Hi

do you have a 3-wire system with neutral wire on dimmer or do you have connect N together with O?

Perhaps you should try with a bypass. I think it could be the problem.

    I'm not 100% sure, but 90% sure I have a 2-wire connection. I'm afraid I have to buy this bypass although I did hope it would succeed without by having 32 Watt already.

    It's the latest Philips GU10 led, I do have the Novellura as well and 12x3 watt works perfectly without bypass...

    8x4=32W > doesn't work

    Minimum load 35W

    3x12=36W > works

    I would go for the bypass.
